Musicy Goodness
So I was tooling around on Last.fm today, looking at the Carl Orff appearing in my profile (thank God for Amy! I'd been dying to know what Carmina Burana had been for ages). I stumbled across this survey and thought it looked interesting, so what the hell.
Actually, this is only half of the survey the person put up, cus the latter half was lame to connect to music, as the chance of landing on something that fit together was too rare ("Where will you meet your husband/wife?").
So ... what you do .. open your music player (iTunes, WMP, whatever)and put it on shuffle. For each category, hit next .. and put the firstsong that starts playing! Don't cheat!

AOL... Grr.
Since neither Keyword: Suggestions, or Keyword: Tell Us work anymore, a friend suggested to me this avenue of complaint.
The banner ads now placed at the bottom of email messages are pushing them limits of acceptable advertising. On almost every screen that I pull up in AOL, I'm forced to view ads placed there by AOL--whether in chatrooms, profiles, or my email box. Worse, beyond the email box alone, into every message.
Furthermore, while I run at a larger resolution than most people I know, I still find the body of the email to be terribly small, and I know people who still use 640x480--which must limit the body of their emails down to a mere inch or two, tops.
AOL charges more than enough, without forcing us to view all these advertisements. I have two accounts--I give a good amount of money to AOL every month and have for ten years now. The banner ads on email are nothing but a nuisance to me and I'm sure that I'm not the only one who feels this way.
Sent this off today, after seeing the banners at the bottom of my mail. All they're missing is ads in IMs and on your Buddy List. Notice I didn't mention this? I didn't want to give them any ideas.

Cellphone Madness
We really shouldn't have a camera phone. Especially when it's far too easy to email myself pics that I've taken.
Today Mike and Erin destroyed more old fixtures at work; this time being the trash can thingy from the cafe (yesterday's was the old beverage bar). Amazingly enough, this monstrosity was likely the most well built item ... in the entire store!
Will post pix later, as Chazz is wanting to play NWN now!

Contaminated Radio
Our guild now has a radio station, thanks to Hagane! Be careful about making requests though... I said something about Tatu, so he queued up 2hrs of Russian/German artists.
