Ouch
So, today I think I really messed up my hand. -_- I was shifting books in language reference, and as I moved from one shelf to the next I simply scooted myself over. Yeah, when I did that though, I felt my left hand bend to the side (against the natural curve of the hand) and felt tendons grinding against the bones. I think the sound was more displeasing than anything else.
I continued working for a few minutes before I realized that it felt like it was starting to swell (not to mention, becoming hot). I thought that the best thing to do would be to go soak it in cold water, which eased the pain. I also took from Excedrin, which helped both my hand and my back (which was sore from working on a music browser for over an hour last night).
Mike and I made a delievery for Manda, since the place was very rude to her and she didn't want to deal with them. Thankfully they were kind to us, if not a touch slow.
So, today was just lovely.
I paid for Mike's WoW account this month. He had it on a six month plan (mine is still month-to-month), and it ran out. Well, he hadn't yet changed his card (his old one expired), plus I don't think he'd have any money. Blasted one-week paycheck! Grr! Thankfully we get paid in ... three days.
Last night I bought myself a t-shirt, feeling especially geeky at the moment. I had been looking at Penny Arcade's "Rogues do it from behind" shirt since it came out, and I finally bought one. I don't know how well it will go over at work, but oh well!

Margerdra

My twinked Paladin! Being the only character on the same server as Sapheria has its privileges. Namely, the joy of being twinked. Add in the bonus of the Dressing Room feature recently included by Blizzard, and this means that not only is she twinked, but she's stylin' too. (Her gloves actually match now, I'll do better pics soon.)

Sapheria

<Angels of darkness>
My 'main' character in the sense of highest level, Sapheria is a Night Elf Hunter whom I adore. Still in the lower 50s, if I wished to, I could likely have enough money for my Epic Mount by the time I reach 60, as she has herbalism and skinning maxed out. Her wolf, Shadowwolf, has been a loyal companion since like level 17. I am thinking about getting a cat as well, due to the new Hunter abilities (and the new pet abilities, like stealth), but grinding up the pet from the 20s to 50s sounds like a total pain. Heh.
(And yes, it annoys me that darkness is not capitalized. I'm only in it due to guilds merging, and trying to stay with friends.)

Khaotica

Guildless also, Khaotica is my Undead Mage.

Pepper

Poor Pepper, my Gnomish Rogue, is guildless. But that's just fine, IMO.

Hexxan

<P e n t a g r a m>
Hexxan is my awesome little Gnomish Warlock. Her summons are bigger than her, which is hilarious.

Sorrowful

<Spitfire Vixens>
Like Shinku, Sorrowful was created to play with Mike. In this case, alongside his Orc Warlock. Sorrowful is a Undead (duh) Priestess. Unfortunately, her new outfit doesn't make her look like a Priestess at all. More like a scummy rogue. LOL

Shinku

<Contaminated>
As if you could not tell by the picture, Shinku is a Troll Shaman. I started her on the PVP server Bloodscalp to play with Mike--who plays a Orc Hunter.
Shinku is spec'd Elemental, uses a two-handed mace. Maybe I'll actually take screenshots during daylight hours to get a better image.

World of Zorkcraft
One person suggests that WoW should be strictly text-based, and hilarious ensues on the MB.
Stumpwater:
It is pitch black.
>inventory
You have:
a splitting headache
no tea
Orald:
You are in a town full of both hustle and a bit of bustle.
You take a few steps forward.
A gnome rogue stabs you in the back. Gnome Rogue's ambush crits you for 2408.
You die.
Ressurect now?
Toast:
>Dark Tunnel
It turns out we lied, and you're actually in Onyxia's Lair. -1000 HP for stupidity. Onyxia is enraged by your intrusion in her lair. In your inventory you have 2 stacks of Morning Glory Dew, Frost Oil, and a Super Powerful Thingamajig. Choose
>Super Powerful Thingamajig.
There is no item like that in the game! Instant death for thinking bad things. >:)
Caydiem (Caydiem wouldn't miss a topic like this!):
You are standing outside the Orgrimmar bank. Bonfires burn merrily up and down the street. There is a mailbox here.
You also see: Atauren, Gudhealr, Beefsteak, Rottin, Voodootrol.
> open mailbox
You open the mailbox to see if any new mail has arrived.
You see:
* A small pouch of money from the Auction House
* Wanderer's Boots of the Whale
* A handwritten note
>get money
I don't understand that.
>take money
There is nothing by that name here.
>take pouch
You take the pouch. Inside is 1g, 40s and 23c, which you pocket.
Voodootrol yells, 'anyone maek me water plz'
Beefsteak goes east.
>take note
You take the note.
>read note
The note reads:
Do you want to be rich beyond your wildest dreams? Just visit www
>destroy note
Are you sure you want to destroy the note? Y/N
>y
The note is destroyed.
Fangtooth enters the area.
>close mailbox
You close the mailbox.
You are standing outside the Orgrimmar bank. Bonfires burn merrily up and down the street. There is a mailbox here.
You also see: Atauren, Gudhealr, Rottin, Voodootrol, Fangtooth.
>say Hi, Fangtooth.
Caydiem says, 'Hi, Fangtooth.'
Fangtooth says, 'murgurgul' in Murloc.
>em sigh
Caydiem sighs.
>ne
You head northeast.
You are outside the bustling Orgrimmar Auction House. You can hear the auctioneers bark over the restless crowd inside.
You also see: Beefsteak, Orcboi, Gromm, Eyonix, Deddood.
>em wave Eyonix
Caydiem waves to Eyonix.
Eyonix whispers, 'I just got [Hand of Edward the Odd].'
>look Eyonix hand
He has two of them.
>look Eyonix Hand of Edward the Odd
You see Eyonix holding the Hand of Edward the Odd, an ornate, runed mace that sits easily in one hand.
Damage: 50-94
Speed: 1.6
Statistics: +13 INT, +10 SPR
Effect: Chance on hit -- next spell cast within 4sec will cast instantly.
>em rude Eyonix
Caydiem makes a rude gesture at Eyonix.
Eyonix sighs.
Eyonix whispers, 'Fine, I won't give it to you then.'
>tell Eyonix wait
You whisper to Eyonix, 'wait'
Eyonix goes south.
>tell Eyonix Come back!
Eyonix has ignored you.
>use hearthstone
You begin to use your hearthstone...
...
Your hearthstone whisks you away to where you last bound!
You are inside the Orgrimmar inn. The raucous chatter of inebriated Horde adventurers makes it difficult to hear anything. The innkeeper stands in the middle of the room.
You also see: Coreiel, Fordtauren.
An outraged roar bellows through the building as a tauren is gutted from behind.
Someone appears to be going through his pockets.
>say $@%! I didn't want to be here
Caydiem says, '$@%! I didn't want to be here'
Coreiel gasps.
Coreiel whispers, 'reported'
>logout
Are you sure you want to logout? Y/N
>y
You log out. Thank you for playing World of Warcraft!

Bleh!
I'm completely and wholly unmotivated tonight. Its very sad, since all week long I have been writing my little heart out (not that I was enjoying the six+ rewrites on one story...), and now I'm just out of it.
One person has really been annoying me online, and the whole situation has completely sapped my interest. After Mike and I got back from Myrtle Beach, we were all into playing again, and now ... I could give a fuck less. ::Shrugs.::
The sad thing is that I don't even want to play WoW. This week, I think I've logged on like twice. Each for no more than five minutes. In fact, my "Warchief's Blessing" on Shinku is down to 56 minutes, as four minutes has been wasted waiting for the lovely Orgimmar lag pocket to unfold, and then replying to mail. Xina made me temporary GM, until Lilee got back. Lilee gets back and is suddenly in another guild. I had talked to Mike about moving from
I bought Dungeon Siege II, which seems fun. Different and very RTS feeling (minus the resource gathering), so I'm slow getting accustomed to the controls. I had wanted to buy Nintendogs, but EB was out, and Best Buy said, "It comes out tomorrow." Wrong answer! Hmph.
I bought the Witch Hunters Codex for Warhammer 40k, cus Mike would like me to play with him. It's the first one that has seriously caught my eye, as I love the inquistors and all. Mmmm, death to heretics!
As previously mentioned, Mike and I had been down in Myrtle Beach. We had a blast, got sunburnt, played mini-golf. Bought new knives. LOL It was a blast.
Works been nice, which is always a good thing. Other than that... ::Shrugs.::

Warsong Gulch
In a moment of brilliance, I realized that Mike and I would be able to enter the same WSG battleground, though we're nine levels apart. At the moment, Mike is sitting at L40 and I'm at L31. Perfect!
Our first WSG game was horrid. I'm sure I didn't help at all, considering it was my first WSG game also, so I'm lost. Mike was trying to brief me on the battleground in the moments before the game started. We did not get a single flag captured during that first game.
Amazingly enough, within minutes we got into a second game. This time our group was amazing! We tore through the Alliance, capturing their flag three times and defending out own from 5 failed attempts of them capturing our own. Post BG, I had 75 kills to my name. Yay!
