Hello Kitty, Ethan and Dragons
Oh, where to start?
I planned on getting up early this morning, I even set my alarm for 9:20 a.m. Did I get up? Yes. Did I lay back down, after 'getting up' to shut off the annoying piece of crap alarm? Yep! I think I watched a little bit of TV, but I no longer recall. ::Chuckles.::
Mike and I left early, so that we could drop off a bill for Mom. However, it was going to the Treasurer, and I think that his (her?) office is in City Hall. Well, we didn't leave that early, so we dropped it off in the mail.
Work was . . . boring. I mean b o r i n g. Yawn factor of 10. The only good things were — ::thinks:: — I got a slice of pumpkin pie (and Jeri tried to kill me with whipped cream), I bought a few packs of Onslaught, which each pack was only 1.42$ (well, 1.88$ plus my employee discount). I seriously think the computer is misprogramed on these cards. Its very confusing. When they first came in, I saw the price sticker and I was like, "No fucking way!" I checked the computer and saw the same price. So I went to test-ring a pack, and it came up at the usual 3.99$. I put them in the back to get re-stickered, and they still haven't been done. Tonight I decided I was going to buy two packs (originally four, but I didn't want to spend 15$ on cards) and they rang up at 1.88$. Hey, I wasn't going to argue.
After a month of sitting in the Lost & Found at work, a brand new Hello Kitty purse has found a new home: mine. =D Not like I use a purse that often (in fact, I never have yet!), but you never know. I used it tonight to hold my Magic cards, and my glasses while Jaq brought me home (glasses hurt under a full-face helmet.
I decided to do some bloghopping, and came across WomanChild and was reading through some of her entries, when I found this great idea: No More AOL CDs. I love it. If we start getting any here (aside from the one Mike grabbed because "Its always good to have one on hand, cus you don't know when you won't be able to download it!"), I think I'll save them and start shipping them off to these people. I should grab there ten or so from work. ::Cackle.::
Oh yeah! There was another good thing about work today! I thought of another novel idea! I'm thinking about writing one called Dragons For Ethan. Ethan being based off of Zach's adorable child. I need to write out more ideas, but its going to be my "fall-back" idea, for when I'm needing a break from my main (and still unnamed) novel. This is gonna be fun. And thankfully, I'm not the only one trying for two novels.
