Sleep Day — Yay!
Alright, so before I came to bed last night, I put in Monster Garage. I so worship (read: ♥ ♥ ♥) Jesse. LOL
I was really looking forward to this episode. Only the Mustang ranks in as close as my expectations for the hearse. He had a great team built, but they just spent too much time jerking off, right from the start. Yes, you have the dude who designed the original Bat-Mobile, and the Munster's car, and the General—ohmigawd, I hate Kid Rock for now owning this car—Lee, but Jesse! Ya gotta work! Shit. Anyways, they spent way too much time dicking around, and maybe the hearse was just a bit more than they were expecting. It failed. Doomed from the get-go. I almost cried. Here's the recap.
Dude, speaking of Jesse, there's finally a site (and a beautiful one at that) for West Coast Choppers. Gah! There's clothing here! ::Crying.:: I wish I had known sooner! I would have asked for something for my birthday! ::Starts collecting links, going to buy something Friday, fuck yeah!::
Quick notes, only cus I'm too busy drooling over Jesse still (heheheh!): Hider in the House: good movie. Gary Busey, a god. ::Nod.:: Been watching his flicks since I first saw Carny (another kick ass movie!).
I'm running now, collecting links for clothing that I have got to have, because yanno . . . Jesse just rocks.

Another Blah Day
Absolutely nothing happened today. Nothing. I did however remember about the monkeys we had shoved in the drawers in kids, so I spoke to Becky and pulled them all out. I'm sorry, but not only are our monkeys cuter, but they are considerably cheaper than the 'official' Edison Field Angels' Rally Monkey.
I brought downstairs two armloads of the monkeys. Evan set them hanging behind the registers, and Jarrid hung one up in the cafe from the lights. I hope they sell. The poor fellas need a home. ::Nod.::
Been getting a few responses on the MT board about not being able to get the PHP & MT to work together. I replied tonight with actual files to show what was going on (like how the server loves PHP, but errors out on PHP that's been processed through MT), and included the txt versions. Maybe I have a tag mussed up, who knows. ::Shrugs.::
Poor Amie was sick today, but we had fun at work. Oh yeah. Colin Farrell came in today, as Amie and I were returning from picking up dinner. OMG. She so freaked out. We were headed upstairs as he was coming down, so we had to turn around and like follow him back down. Cedric threatened to go say something to him, as did Jaq. Later Amie realized that she should have let Jaq, because his friend just did a photo shoot for Colin. Heh.
So, after he left Amie and I bumrushed Evan, to get the credit card slip. Amie (shame on her) made photocopies. =D Amie was completely frantic, and oddly enough I made Evan go about the same way when I informed him that Rob Zombie comes in. {g}
Not much else happened. Mike and I gave Jarrid a ride home again, which is cool. Jarrid is hilarous. Oh yeah, during dinner he told us that his band—Species 99—is doing a gig on 4 January at the Whiskey–A–Go–Go (I love that name, LOL). He said he'll give us tickets; yay!

I Wanted To Rant ...
but that was yesterday. I have since forgotten the majority of my rant . . . well, no. I haven't.
First off, I hate working on Sundays. You know how when someone drives slow on Sundays, they're typically called a "Sunday Driver"? These are nice, laidback church-going people. But people get pushy, and cannot stand these slow types. I wish the slow-types were the ones who came in on Sundays.
I was helping this girl. She had asked if we had any sketchbooks; we did, but they were in the back room. I went into the back and started digging through them, at which time I heard the phone start to ring. Grabbing the two different styles of sketchbooks that we had, I went back out to show them to the girl. On the way back to her, I saw this lady standing near our computer section, on our phone, who immediately 'attacked' me as I looked at her.
"Do you work here!" If looks could kill, I would have been dead before she finished saying, 'do.' Notice the lack of ?, this was no question.
"I do. I need to finishing helping someone, but I'll be right back." I swear, she snarled.
I show the girl the sketchbooks, unfortunately neither of them were quite was sshe was looking for. Too big; too thin. Gah! But she was very cool, and apologetic about me having to go look for them.
Unfortunatety, there was a guy standing there, who had come up at about the same time the girl had. I apologized to him, and gave a glance toward the woman who had tailed. I think he caught my drift.
"The computer says you have this book, but the sections a mess and I cannot find it!" Fire spewed forth from her nostrils. I swear. So I double-checked for the book. Gods, we have one in stock. But its an Adobe Classroom-in-a-Book, so it should be rather easy to find. I know what those look like.
Yeah. Maybe. If the shelves were in order. If someone had not moved them completely out of order. Grr. So this lady got all nasty and bitchy. As if she wasn't already nasty and bitchy. Plus, she had a child who would not stop crying and screaming. The kid was like four too, and the lady actually said she was acting good at the moment. X_X Shoot me, please.
Yeah, so back to the shelves. Before I went to work, I asked Mike if the computer section happened to be in order. His eyes got all big and he was like, "Yeah. Augie just did it the other day." Oi.
"Why did you ask?" you might say. Because Saturday Evan moved the section. I was walking out of the back office once, and saw that he was moving the shelves out of order. I told him that he really needed to move them in order. He acted like it was no big deal. I found out yesterday that Becky had noticed this also, and told him the same thing. She then went and told Heather, so Heather could check on his work (since it was Heather who gave him the project). When I found out yesterday morning that my project was to move the shelf talkers, I mentioned that he had been doing it out of order—which is how I found out about Becky discovering it too. When I talked to Heather, she was like, "Yeah, and I checked and everything was fine."
It took me my first project hour to do the first case. That's five shelves. I had to do so much backtracking, it was insane! Grr...
Not much else happened yesterday, with the exception of Mike teasing me, saying he knows something that my parents got me for my birthday. Evil, evil, evil.
"You'll like it, and its nothing photography related." Grr. But then, I only have two days remaining.
Oh, and Dad is leaving for the weekend, on my birthday. ::Shrugs.:: Like this has happened before. In fact, it was the same thing that happened, that birthed the "birthday dinner" celebrations Mom and I have. Yeah, this is normal.

I Have A Desk Thief
Robert called from work just a short while ago. Seems that Padric wouldn't give him the days off he needed, so he was calling people to cover his shifts. We traded a day, which is fine and all; I just hope that Padric goes back to my normal schedule thereafter. Otherwise, I could get quite grumpy (I rather enjoy my days off being together).
After Robert called I decided to go get some food, considering I had yet to have eaten anything today. I was halfway expecting Mike to bring home food, but on the other hand, my stomach was finally feeling better and I didn't want to ruin that with food. Well, it got to the point in which I was needing to eat. I got myself a bowl of cereal (Mini-Chex, mmmm!) and sat on the bed to eat and watch Mike playing Tony Hawk 4.
One of the secret skaters on THIV is Eddie, otherwise known as the dead mascot for Iron Maiden. One of his special moves is ripping his guts out and putting them back in! =D ::Loves Maiden, yes'sir.::
Mike then decided to see who another of the secret skaters is. Dude, it was Jango Fett on a hover-board! He does this one move Jango Jump Jett and launches himself wayyy into the air, and you can pull some nasty tricks!
After I finished eating, I came back to the computer (trying to work on a good layout, and some skins) and Kahlua has stolen my desk! It would be a big thing, except that the monitor sits underneath the glass desktop. Grr! LOL I pet her for awhile, which she amazingly accepted with lots of purring, before picking her up. I tried to get her to rest in my lap, but she wouldn't. Damn cat.

Another Halloween Theme
1. What is your earliest Halloween memory? What costume did you wear? Why did you pick it? The earliest memory of Halloween that I have is when my parents let me go trick-or-treating with Teresa (our next-door neighbor). I remember that it was the first time I left the block for trick-or-treating; we went probably four blocks up the street that t-bones us here (I live here once again, yet cannot think of the name of that damned street! Farragut possibly). I have no clue what I was dressed up as. Knowing me, I was a cat. Meow!
2. Did you go trick or treating as a child? If so, did you travel alone or in a pack? What was the best part about trick or treating as a child? I'm not sure at what age my parents first took me trick-or-treating. I know that I was dressed up for my first true Halloween, but I don't know if I went out with . . . well, whoever went. Donna and I were Raggedy Ann, and I have no idea what Rob was. I would say a pirate, but I think that was possibly another year. Until my parents were divorced, both of them were with me; my siblings were probably off with friends, considering the age difference. I loved all the decorated houses in the neighborhood, and how friendly everyone was.
3. When did you stop trick or treating? Why? I think I may have stopped between 10 and 13, because we were living at Venice and I don't remember going through the neighborhood alone (I remember going once with Dawn, so that would have been like 15). I went when I turned 14, with Paul. And he kept scaring kids by running up to them like he was going to steal their candy. I think I went the next year also, but to take my nephew Michael out. I had to carry his tail. =D Then I went later with Ryan in Beverly Hills, when I was like 18 I believe. Heheh.
4. Do you like Halloween parties? Why or why not? If you do like Halloween parties, what aspect do you like the most? I have never been to one, but I would imagine that I would like it. ::Sulk.::
5. As an adult, do you still have fun on/for Halloween? If so, how? Last year Mike, Ryan and I went to West Hollywood for the block party, which ended up being very interesting. We hung out with Insecto and we got recruited (well, Mike and I did. Ryan's friends with them). This Halloween I think is going to be a bust, unless Mike and I find something interesting to do.
Bonus Question - What's your favorite scary movie and why? As I said in the Friday Five, Thirteen Ghosts would have to be my favorite, simply because it did (does? haven't seen it since the time in the theatre) scare me. I've been watching horror flicks for ages, since Mom let me pick any movie I wanted whenever we went to Blockbuster. I almost always picked a B-rated horror flick. The only thing that came close to 'scaring' me was the scenes in Pet Semetary with the older sister who has some disease. Ew. I had to fast-forward through those. On the other hand, Exorcist gave me a good jump last night. It was when the younger priest looked at the girl, and instead of seeing her, he saw some lady in white just staring at him. That gave me the heebie-jeebies!

A Halloween Theme
1. What is your favorite scary movie? Well, if I go by movies that have actually scared me, I would have to say Thirteen Ghosts. That movie scared the crap out of me, and made me hate bathrooms all the more.
2. What is your favorite Halloween treat? Mm . . . I would have to say either Snickers bars, or Tootsie Rolls.
3. Do you dress up for Halloween? If so, describe your best Halloween costume. I usually do. When I was a kid, I dressed up as a cat quite a bit. My first real Halloween (when I was a year, rather than a day old) both Donna and I were dressed up as Raggedy Ann. Very cute. If I can find the picture, I'll throw it up here. =D Best though? ::Shrugs.::
4. Do you enjoy going to haunted houses or other spooky events? Never been to a haunted house or to any of the 'fright night' type events at the amusement parks out here. ::Sigh!::
5. Will you dress up for Halloween this year? Probably not. :(

"Hey, wanna try this trick?"
Yeah, so that was the last thing I just heard. Mike's playing Tony Hawk 4 — which I was quite rudely woken up at 11am for. EB called to tell me that Tony Hawk 4 was in. Me, as if I ordered the game. Mike probably gave them the phone number, and it pulled up my name from when I pre-ordered Tekken 4 for his birthday. After I got off the phone with them, I called Mike at work and let him know—though I'm sure he would have gone over there to find out regardless.
I didn't post yesterday for a variety of reasons. 1) After I got off the phone with Zach, I was in no mood whatsoever to deal with anything other than lying in bed and moaning over the cramps I was beginning to get. 2) By the time I got home last night, my stomach was killing me and I was tired. Plus, I was home like, oh . . . almost a hour later than I was supposed to. ::Huff.::
Yesterday morning, Zach called. He was upset, again. Ranting, again. Not that I mind, but considering the fact that he had been to court this only screamed of bad news. Somehow he got some feminist bitch for a judge. Lemme see if I can get this story perfectly straight, since I don't believe I have mentioned anything from it prior to this.
Kirsten and Zach got into a fight about her leaving with Ethan. Zach called the cops, who came out and informed Kirsten that if she took the baby anywhere without informing Zach, that it would amount to kidnapping.
The next day she disappears. He gives her two days (I believe) before he calls the cops and begins to give a report for her kidnapping Ethan. While he's doing this someone knocks on the door; one of Kirsten's friends (or the mother of, I forget). She is there to service him with a restraining order and a police report saying that not only did he supposedly threaten her life, but Ethan's as well. Please, Zach might be a jackass at times, but he would never, strike that: NEVER harm Ethan.
Okay, so Zach's been trying to get things straightened out. He's getting statements from people who have known him, and seen him around Ethan (me being one of these people). He's done everything, except remember his roots. Zach is 1/4 Native American. He could (and probably will now) speak with the council and see about assistance in getting his son back from Kirsten. Mom remembered this while she was in South Dakota, at the pow-wow. She had seen a child-custody case recently, in which the father was Native American and the tribe had their lawyer act in favor of the father.
Well, Zach calls me up on like Monday and tells me that Kirsten had been breaking the restraining order herself, and had been bringing Ethan over to the house to see Zach (not to mention the fact that she returned to the house at least once to steal possessions from both Zach and his father while they were not home). She also told him that she was dropping the case against him. We now think that it was only a ploy, to get him not to show up at court.
Anyhow. He gets to court. The judge won't listen to anything he has to say, or look at anything he attempts to show her. He's assigned to battery/anger-management classes and the restraining order holds until the custody case on 7 November. He then is required to come see this judge again on 21 November for a follow-up. Oi.
Onto happier (ha) subjects: work. Boring! Nothing happened, except that I was reading Son of Web Pages That Suck. Very interesting and I got some ideas; but then who doesn't after looking through this book? Well, Meri saw me reading it, and decided to come up with some work for me to do. Joy, oh joy! Oddly enough, she gave me the RPL pages for the computer section. Heheh.
10:30 rolled around, and I high-tailed it out the door. Mike wasn't there yet, but this was no surprise. I went and sat outside for him. It got to be 10:50 and I realized something was wrong. Having no change, I high-tailed it back to work before they closed the doors and called home. And guess what? He was asleep!! Gah! Thankfully Meri said that when he got there, someone would come unlock the door for me so I could leave. He apologized quite a bit, even after we got home, which wasn't really necessary. I told him that it just showed that he's not sleeping enough. ::Nod.::
Well, I think its time for me to do some work. Like, graphics or maybe some novel outlines.... Something.

Hello Kitty, Ethan and Dragons
Oh, where to start?
I planned on getting up early this morning, I even set my alarm for 9:20 a.m. Did I get up? Yes. Did I lay back down, after 'getting up' to shut off the annoying piece of crap alarm? Yep! I think I watched a little bit of TV, but I no longer recall. ::Chuckles.::
Mike and I left early, so that we could drop off a bill for Mom. However, it was going to the Treasurer, and I think that his (her?) office is in City Hall. Well, we didn't leave that early, so we dropped it off in the mail.
Work was . . . boring. I mean b o r i n g. Yawn factor of 10. The only good things were — ::thinks:: — I got a slice of pumpkin pie (and Jeri tried to kill me with whipped cream), I bought a few packs of Onslaught, which each pack was only 1.42$ (well, 1.88$ plus my employee discount). I seriously think the computer is misprogramed on these cards. Its very confusing. When they first came in, I saw the price sticker and I was like, "No fucking way!" I checked the computer and saw the same price. So I went to test-ring a pack, and it came up at the usual 3.99$. I put them in the back to get re-stickered, and they still haven't been done. Tonight I decided I was going to buy two packs (originally four, but I didn't want to spend 15$ on cards) and they rang up at 1.88$. Hey, I wasn't going to argue.
After a month of sitting in the Lost & Found at work, a brand new Hello Kitty purse has found a new home: mine. =D Not like I use a purse that often (in fact, I never have yet!), but you never know. I used it tonight to hold my Magic cards, and my glasses while Jaq brought me home (glasses hurt under a full-face helmet.
I decided to do some bloghopping, and came across WomanChild and was reading through some of her entries, when I found this great idea: No More AOL CDs. I love it. If we start getting any here (aside from the one Mike grabbed because "Its always good to have one on hand, cus you don't know when you won't be able to download it!"), I think I'll save them and start shipping them off to these people. I should grab there ten or so from work. ::Cackle.::
Oh yeah! There was another good thing about work today! I thought of another novel idea! I'm thinking about writing one called Dragons For Ethan. Ethan being based off of Zach's adorable child. I need to write out more ideas, but its going to be my "fall-back" idea, for when I'm needing a break from my main (and still unnamed) novel. This is gonna be fun. And thankfully, I'm not the only one trying for two novels.

Another Dull Day
My alarm went off at 8am this morning. X_X I forgot to reset it after yesterday morning, and so I was like "URG*$^^^$((#)#" this morning when it went off. Very discombobulated (I spelled that incorrectly, didn't I? Spellcheck on MT would be nice!).
Work went about the same as any other day, with the exception that it was dreadfully slow. I spent like 15 minutes downstairs, talking with . . . shit, everyone. I bullshitted with Brian, who was perfecting his signature; then I talked with Jarrad for a few (he was helping me come up with a tattoo idea). Alexia came down and I found out that she's got like major schooling in art, but I can't talk her into drawing me a tattoo (sulk!). So then I had to run over to the registers and find out if Evan or Amie could — nope. ::Sigh!:: Jarrad did come up with an amazing idea though . . . Anywho, I was bs'ing with Amie when Padric came down and "reminded" me that I was supposed to be upstairs. Bleh!
I did buy a book on my break: Writing Fiction Step-by-Step by Josip Novakovich.
Wow, I would so have included a link to the book, but Amazon is like DEAD at the moment. Very strange. It loads up the header bar with the links, and no content. And it takes a good amount of time for it to load any of that. Ew, now the page errored out entirely.
So, I bought the book because it has over 200 writing exercises, and I thought I could probably use them when working on my story. Mostly for those times when I have complete brain-fade going on, and I need an outside creative boost (meaning from working on something outside my main one). That's mostly why I considered doing two novels, and it looks like I may not be the only one.
After floating around the NaNoWriMo forums for a bit, and checking out posts, I found an interesting service, called Stories.com. You can register an account with them, post your stories and get rated. Guess now I can have stories posted in two locations, here and there.
Shit, its 2:30. Time to kick Kahlua out of the room, reset my alarm and hit the bed. Mike's been snoring away from almost two hours now. Lucky bastard. ;-)

Just Another Day
So, work was hectic today, but that's the norm on Sundays. Also following the norm was the fact that we were short handed. To make everything slightly worse, it was Educator Appreciation Weekend; which meant we had teachers pouring in the door, looking for their 25% discount.
I called Mike to come have lunch with me. When I clocked out, I called to find out that he was still trying to get into a parking structure. So I went to get something to eat, and headed down to Fatburger (which is what he wanted). I waited outside for like 20 minutes before I headed to work and called him. Go figure, he was there, eating. He ended up in a parking structure other than our normal one, which completely messed up my thinking. But, he wrapped up his food and came back to work to eat with me.
Tonight I spent a bit of time going through all off my tattoo magazines (oddly it was only about 10) and cutting out images I liked. Mike said he might pay for a new tattoo for me, which would be cool . . . if I had any clue what I wanted. ::Sigh!::
I think Mom got a kick out of my birthday list. Dad was like, "What is a 'medium-large format'..." Thankfully Mom interrupted to remind him that it was medium OR large format camera. =D
Jaq brought a catalog to work from design Toscano which has some amazing items in it! Gods, I was lovin' it.
I'm going to try and work on my novel idea, and get some info posted about it, so that I'm ready to start come the first. Of course, payday is on the first, so I might be off getting inked again!
I was doing some random hops from my webrings, and found something interesting on Julie's site, that linked to a site to calculate your body mass index. As far as the site is concerned, I'm underweight (mine came to be 17.5). Bah!
Posted by Coyote at 7:53 PM
11 Days
So, its like 11 days until my birthday. I realized that I hadn't given my parents any sort of list (but then . . . Mom hasn't even asked . . . ::Slight frown.::), so I wrote one tonight. Its mostly photography stuff: film, books, maybe even a medium or large format camera (shit, we may have one). Also some minor stuff: a Dremel bit that can drill through stones, liquid silver beads, wire for wrapping around the stones; a couple video games, a pair of Vans and Living Dead Dolls.
La, la, la. Okay, so I've been spacing for like the last hour, looking through counters at OKCounter.com. Seems they have instituted a need for payment now, but only if your counter is ID'd higher than 300k. Thankfully, I've had mine for like a year now, so I'm nowhere near that. Now I just have to slap it back into my templates, since I previously forgot about it. =D
Gonna work on a wishlist. ::Nod.:: Hasta.

Television is the Topic for Today
1. How many TVs do you have in your home? We have four: our room, Mom's room, Dad's room and in the living room.
2. On average, how much TV do you watch in a week? Around four hours a day.
3. Do you feel that television is bad for young children? I personally don't think so. I didn't have bad expierences with TV, but then I was raised watching M*A*S*H (no link found) and Cheers — not The Shield or anything like that.
4. What TV shows do you absolutely HAVE to watch, and if you miss them, you're heartbroken? Ouch. There are actually a few I would have to say that about. Here is a list, in no particular order: Monster Garage (i ♥ Jesse James!), Trading Spaces, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (ahem! Buffy the Guidance Counselor), The Haunted (Matthew Fox: rwar!) and recently 7th Heaven (Mikey got me into the show).
5. If you had the power to create your own television network, what would your line-up look like? I really would have no clue. I would probably just try and buy the rights to all my favorite shows and slap them on it. ::Chuckles.::
On a side note: Tony Hawk now is a star of an Apple "Switch" commercial. Go Birdman! ::Still thinking about making the Switch herself.::

Wow! Chad Came By
What a surprise! Shortly after Mike got home, like within 15 minutes I believe, the doorbell rang. Mike said something about it being Zach. I went and opened the door, only to find Chad standing out in the patio. =D
It was around noon, being sometime after Mom called. Its now 1:30 and he left about 10 minutes ago, though he'll be back soon. He came over to do an estimate on painting the front house. I showed off the inside of the house (his estimate was going to be for the exterior) and he fell in love with the house. Now he wants to move in! ::Chuckles.::
As I said, Mom called earlier. It was about 11:40 and she said they were in Baker. Dad said they would be home by about 3:30. We'll see.
Well, I gotta wake Mike up from his nap, so that we can run and get some food. I'm soooo hungry!
